Is "RIGOR" appropriate for education?

Trying to hold on and pray daily for patience and understanding because it breaks my heart to watch "RIGOR" rob my children (ALL CHILDREN) from the ability to have pure joy for learning and learn by making mistakes!

Look up the definition of "rigor" below and then ask yourself is this the best expectation for children that are LEARNING????
